Five tiers means five entirely separate moods, and I require all of them. From the uppermost perch I can monitor the kitchen, the hallway, and approximately seventy percent of the garden window without moving so much as a whisker. The solid wood construction does not wobble when I land at speed, which I consider the single most important quality in any structure I choose to inhabit. There is a den for when I wish to be invisible, a scratching post for when I feel strongly about things, and enough open platforms for a second cat to exist nearby without it becoming a conversation.
